A historic resort north of Green Bay

There is a resort north of Green Bay that has been restored to its original grandeur. You get to it crossing a steel/metal bridge. I thought it had Isle in the name. Do you know of this lodging? - Chris, Genoa City, Wis.

You're thinking of the Four Seasons Miscauno Island near Pembine, Wis., on the border with Michigan. You do get to it from a steel bridge over the Menominee River.

The first elegant hotel was built in 1905 and burned in 1923. A new clubhouse with golf course was built in 1925 and was frequented by affluent Chicagoans.

In 1990, the U.S. Treasury Department took it over from an owner group charged with fraud and racketeering, and in 2002 it was sold at auction.

The new owners have developed it into an all-seasons resort.
