Restaurants on the Mississippi River near Wabasha

I am looking for restaurants/bar & grill places to stop at by boat on the Mississippi in the areas from Reads Landing to Alma. We're traveling by boat around the Wabasha area, either traveling up or down stream depending on what's available. Thanks. - Becky, Champlin, Minn.

Just north of Wabasha, Reads Landing Brewing Co. serves its own beers plus chicken, beef and shrimp entrees.

In Wabasha, on the north end of Main Street, Slippery's has good burgers. It's famous for being mentioned in the "Grumpy Old Men'' movies.

On Alma's Main Street, the Empire Room serves first-class food and has a very pleasant patio. It's open for lunch and dinner from Thursday through Monday.

Pier 4 Cafe & Smokehouse, overlooking Alma's lock and dam, is open for breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Sunday.
