People in Wisconsin's cheese capital, settled by emigrants from Switzerland, believe you deserve real cheese. Here, you can see how it's made and, of course, get samples.
What to do: Visit the National Historic Cheesemaking Center. Ride the Badger State Trail, which connects to the Sugar River and Jane Addams trails. Tour Minhas Craft Brewery. Eat at Baumgartner's and shop around Courthouse Square.
