  1. Minnesota Yacht Club Festival

    Twenty acts will perform on two stages at this first-time music festival, on Harriet Island across from downtown St. Paul. Headliners include Gwen Stefani, Alanis Morissette and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

  2. Laura Ingalls Wilder pageant

    Walnut Grove, MN2024-07-19

    The festival in this western Minnesota town revolves around the autobiographical children's classic "On the Banks of Plum Creek.'' 

  3. Paperfest

    Kimberly, WI2024-07-19

    This Fox Cities town celebrates its heritage with toilet-paper tosses, lawn games, human foosball, a firefighter tug of war and 35 bands on three stages in Sunset Park.

  4. Rock Fest

    Cadott, WI2024-07-19

    This outdoor festival is near Chippewa Falls. There's onsite camping. Headliners include Jelly Roll, Shinedown and Thirty Seconds to Mars.

  5. Northwest Water Carnival

    Detroit Lakes, MN2024-07-19

    This big festival celebrates its 88th year with a sand-castle contest, water fights, ship-building (in less than 30 minutes), beer tasting, watermelon feed, bike tour and more. On the last day, there's a big parade at 1 p.m.

  6. Country Jam

    Eau Claire, WI2024-07-19

    Hardy, Brothers Osborne and Thomas Rhett are  among the headliners of this fest. There's camping on-site.

  7. Great Folle Avoine Fur Trade Rendezvous

    Danbury, WI2024-07-19

    At this rendezvous at a rebuilt post on the banks of the Yellow River, visit with costumed traders and voyageurs from the fur-trade era and see demonstrations of tomahawk-throwing, black-powder shooting, candlemaking and other skills. There will also be a candy cannon, bead pile and kids' games. 

  8. Bavarian Blast

    New Ulm, MN2024-07-19

    In addition to German music, food and beer, this festival at the Brown County Fair Grounds features stein-holding, barrel-rolling and sauerkraut-eating contests, plus a Sunday parade.

  9. Country Thunder Wisconsin Music Festival

    Twin Lakes, WI2024-07-19

    The country-music festival between Lake Geneva and Kenosha features Eric Church, Nickelback and Lainey Wilson. There's camping onsite.

  10. Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival

    Marquette, MI2024-07-19

    This folk-music festival in Tourist Park also features a juried arts and crafts show and camping on-site.

  11. Rivertown Days

    Hastings, MN2024-07-19

    In this river town south of St. Paul, there will be 25 bands on four stages, plus a carnival, arts & crafts fair and classic-car show.

  12. La Crosse Storytelling Festival

    La Crosse, WI2024-07-19

    Listen to local, regional and national storytellers spin tales at the Pump House. There will also be music and arts and crafts.

  13. Sinclair Lewis Days

    Sauk Centre, MN2024-07-19

    The hometown of the Nobel Prize-winning author celebrates with such events as turtle races, bicycle stunts, Friday fireworks, a craft fair, music and a parade Saturday.

  14. Civil War Encampment and Battle

    Menomonee Falls, WI2024-07-19

    This event at Old Falls Village features Abraham Lincoln, storytelling, a soldier encampment with medical and cooking demonstration and battle reenactments.

  15. Honor the Earth Pow-wow

    Hayward, WI2024-07-19

    The Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa holds one of the largest powwows in North America, with dancing, singing and crafts plus a cooking contest, run/walk and softball tournament. 

  16. Lumberjack Days

    Stillwater, MN2024-07-19

    This music festival along the St. Croix River also features lumberjack shows and such attractions as a downhill derby, hammerschlagen, helicopter rides and a parade. 

  17. Wannigan Days

    St. Croix Falls, WI2024-07-19

    St. Croix Falls and its cross-river neighbor, Taylors Falls, pay tribute to lumberjacks and river pigs with rock and country music, an arts and crafts fair, a Saturday parade and fireworks.

  18. Muskie Days

    Nevis, MN2024-07-19

    The festival in this lake town on the Heartland State Trail features an inflatable obstacle course, hula-hoop instruction, a casting contest, music on three stages, kids' games, an ice cream-eating contest and a parade  Saturday.

  19. Water Days

    New London, MN2024-07-19

    In this lakes town near Sibley State Park, there's a water-ski show, parade, kids' fishing derby and fireworks.
