  1. Grant Park Music Festival

    Professional musicians, many of them world-famous, offer free concerts nearly every evening in Millennium Park's beautiful Pritzker Pavilion. This year's schedule includes favorites by Beethoven, Stravinsky, Gershwin and Debussy as well as songs from Rodgers & Hammerstein and two performances of "Carmina Burana.''

  10. Buffalo Bill Days

    Ride the Root River State Trail, then enjoy music, kids' games, sports tournaments, fireworks and a parade on Sunday.

  11. Hinterland Music Festival

    This downtown arts festival includes dance, music on two stages, storytelling, food and children's activities.

  13. River City Days

    In this Mississippi River town, there's music, food and games in Bay Point Park and an arts show in Levee Park. The parade is on Sunday.

  14. Tall Timber Days

    Grand Rapids, MN2025-08-03

    In this longtime logging town, there will be lumberjack shows, chainsaw carving, music and a parade Sunday.
