  2. Aquafest

    The festival in this northwest Wisconsin lakes town includes a carnival, art fair, kids' fishing derby, car show, nationally known country bands and, on the last day, a parade followed by a water-ski show. Headliners include Redferrin, BlackHawk and Revisiting Creedence.

    There's an arts and crafts show, flea market and carnival but also a milking contest, firemen's water fight and a parade Sunday.

  4. Lilac Festival

    Mackinac Island, MI2026-06-13

    There are concerts, lilac walking tours, a dog and pony show, a family fun area and, on the last day, a big parade.

  5. Walleye Weekend

    Fond du Lac, WI2026-06-13

    In addition to a fishing tournament, this free family fest features live music on four stages, a Friday parade and strongman, volleyball and cornhole competitions, plus a Familyland for small children and a Teen Village with a climbing wall and giant obstacle course.

  6. Three Free Weekend in Michigan

    Enjoy free fishing and off-road vehicle-riding without a permit or license and free admission to Michigan's 103 state parks and recreation areas. Parking at trailheads also will be free.

  7. Grant Park Music Festival

    Professional musicians, many of them world-famous, offer free concerts nearly every evening in Millennium Park's beautiful Pritzker Pavilion. This year's schedule includes Bernstein's West Side Story, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and Broadway Sings America.

    There will be helicopter rides, a water-ski show, a Friday parade and Saturday fireworks. The two towns are linked by the Keweenaw Peninsula's massive Portage Lift Bridge.

    Just west of Madison, this town celebrates with a bean-bag toss, dog show, volleyball, craft-beer tent, Saturday fireworks and Sunday parade.

    This big festival on the lakefront features lots of hearty food, a piano contest, storytelling, vodka-tasting, folk arts and polka dancing.

  11. Windsurfing Regatta & Music Festival

    This breezy town in southwest Minnesota hosts windsurfing races on Lake Okabena and a free music festival. There will also be children's activities, a bike ride and a fun run.

  12. Midsommarfest

    Chicago, IL2026-06-13

    This street festival in the historically Swedish neighborhood of Chicago features Maypole dancing, music, international food, an artisan market and children's activities.

  13. HarborFest

    Racine, WI2026-06-13

    This music festival at Festival Hall on Lake Michigan also features food and an artisan market.

  14. Midwest Fire Fest

    Cambridge, WI2026-06-13

    This pottery town east of Madison celebrates the arts fueled by fire, including clay, glass and metal. It includes fire dancing, music from bands, demonstrations and food, including wood-fired pizza. Fest-goers can design their own tiles to be created during a hot-iron pour Saturday.

  15. Marquette Waterfront Festival

    Madison, WI2026-06-13

    In Yahara Place Park on Lake Monona, there's music on two stages, children's games and craft-beer and wine tents.

  16. Old Town Art Fair

    Chicago, IL2026-06-13

    In the Old Town neighborhood, there will be more than 200 juried fine artists, a garden walk, live music and children's activities.

  17. Big Top Parade & Circus Celebration

    Baraboo, WI2026-06-13

    In the downtown square, there will be circus-themed performances, walking tours, music, children's activities and a Big Top parade.

  18. Juneteenth

    Minneapolis, MN2026-06-13

    With music, dance, food and family activities, this festival in Bethune Park commemorates the ending of American slavery in 1865.
