    Just west of Madison, this town celebrates with a bean-bag toss, dog show, volleyball, craft-beer tent, Saturday fireworks and Sunday parade. 

  3. Lilac Festival

    There are concerts, lilac walking tours, a dog and pony show, a family fun area and, on the last day, a big parade.

  4. Old Town Art Fair

    In the Old Town neighborhood, there will be more than 200 juried fine artists, a garden walk, live music and children's activities.

  5. Big Top Parade & Circus Celebration

    In the downtown square, there will be circus-themed performances, walking tours, music, children's activities and a Big Top parade.

  6. Polish Fest

    Milwaukee, WI2025-06-14

    This big festival on the lakefront features lots of hearty food, a piano contest, storytelling, vodka-tasting, folk arts and polka dancing.

  7. Stone Arch Bridge Festival

    Minneapolis, MN2025-06-14

    On the west banks of the Mississippi, 200 artists show their wares. There will also be music, art for kids and a car show.

  8. Windsurfing Regatta & Music Festival

    Worthington, MN2025-06-14

    This breezy town in southwest Minnesota hosts windsurfing races on Lake Okabena and a free music festival. There will also be children's activities, a bike ride and a fun run.

  9. Jaycee Water Carnival

    Hutchinson, MN2025-06-14

    This town just west of Minneapolis, on the Crow River, celebrates with a boat parade, fireworks, human foosball tournament, canoe races, duck races, a car show and parade Sunday.

  10. Steamboat Days

    Winona, MN2025-06-14

    The main event is the 12:31 p.m. Sunday parade, one of the region's largest. There's also a carnival, craft show, music, power-boat races, a car show and fireworks.

  11. Bridgefest

    Houghton/Hancock, MI2025-06-14

    There will be helicopter rides, a water-ski show, a Friday parade and Saturday fireworks. The two towns are linked by the Keweenaw Peninsula's massive Portage Lift Bridge.

  12. HarborFest

    Racine, WI2025-06-14

    The return of this music festival at Festival Hall on Lake Michigan also will feature food and an artisan market.

  13. Midsommarfest

    Chicago, IL2025-06-14

    This street festival in the historically Swedish neighborhood of Chicago features Maypole dancing, music, international food, an artisan market and children's activities.

  14. Midwest Fire Fest

    Cambridge, WI2025-06-14

    This pottery town east of Madison celebrates the arts fueled by fire, including clay, glass and metal. It includes fire dancing, music from seven bands, demonstrations and food, including wood-fired pizza. Fest-goers can design their own tiles to be created during a hot-iron pour Saturday.

  15. Marquette Waterfront Festival

    In Yahara Place Park on Lake Monona, there's music on two stages, children's games and craft-beer and wine tents.

  16. Grant Park Music Festival

    Chicago, IL2025-06-14

    Professional musicians, many of them world-famous, offer free concerts nearly every evening in Millennium Park's beautiful Pritzker Pavilion. This year's schedule includes favorites by Beethoven, Stravinsky, Gershwin and Debussy as well as songs from Rodgers & Hammerstein and two performances of "Carmina Burana.''

  17. Harborfest

    In this beach town on Lake Michigan, there will be a wooden boat show, dragon-boat racing, kids' activities, music and a craft fair.

  18. Sol Grass Music Festival

    This bluegrass festival is off the Door Peninsula, and tickets include tent camping.

  19. Wurst Festival

    Amana, IA2025-06-14

    Besides sausage sampling, there will be music, a dachshund derby, a beer-stein holding contest and hotdog games.

  20. Juneteenth

    Minneapolis, MN2025-06-14

    With music, dance, food and family activities, this festival in Bethune Park commemorates the ending of American slavery in 1865.

  21. PorchFest

    Mount Morris, IL2025-06-14

    During this afternoon music festival, 19 bands perform for 45 minutes each on porches around town. There will be food vendors, too.
